Nominal Dimension and Weight	Size 6 shall be 150 x 200 x 400mm and weighs approx. 14.0 kg
Slots	- Type Q shall be of 1/4" wide, flared. - Type RSC shall be of 3/4" wide, flared.
Filler Elements	- Type RSC shall have fabricated incombustible fibrous material having metal septa laminated to one side installed with septa facing away from the slots.
Absorption Coefficients	Sound absorption shall be in accordance with ASTM C-423. Type_______ Size_______ Hz________ Coef.______ NRC_______ (where specific noise problem is noted.)
Installation	Soundblox units may be installed in either running bond or stacked bond. Erection procedures are essentially the same as those for ordinary concrete masonry units. The closed ends of the cavities must be on the top of the units when installed in the wall, and a full horizontal bed of mortar must be used for optimum sound transmission loss and optimum sound absorption. The slots shall be exposed to the area where the sound absorption is desired. All necessary cutting on the job site shall be performed with power tools in such manner as to provide straight and true edges. No chipped or broken blocks shall be used. Care shall be taken to ensure that the slots are kept free of mortar or debris. Soundblox workmanship shall conform to all requirements of the General Specifications for masonry work.
