Resonac D is fast drying, high solids water based viscoelastic vibration damping compound . The unique formulation out performs other similar compounds. The exceptional vibration damping properties are complemented by ease of use, environmental friendliness and low flammability.

Resonac D is a thixotropic paste. Resonac D is specially designed for trowel, pour, brush, roll-on and air-gun spray applications. Once dry the cured film is UV resistant and water resistant. Resonac D is high viscosity version for subtrates over 3mm thick and over head troweling applications (NB. This version is only available against special order. A minimum order quantity applies).

Unlike most damping materials, Resonac D is a low density product. The dry film is light in weight without compromising the high performance. Consequently , this material is recommended for weight sensitive applications eg. aircraft, marine and automotive applications.

Vibration is absorbed by combining viscous (energy dissipation) and elastic (energy storage) characteristics. Vibration energy is absorbed within the material and converted to heat.
