Revolutionary Rain Impact Noise Treatment

Exposed metal roof treated with our Resonac range - functionally and aesthetically acceptable.

Damping compound treated metal roof over linkway adjacent to open study areas

Wants to use metal roof in your design but worry about the ran impact noise ? Now we can solve your problem. Our damping compound may hold the key to those irritating rain impact noise.

Our range of Resonac Products reduce compound that makes those rainy days welcome, even if you are under a bare metal roof system. Our Resonac range is amazing and it outperforms similar compound, reducing the noise level up to 15dB (or twice the loudness)!

Following are some of the unique advantages of our Resonac range :

Ease-of-use:
It is sprayed or rolled onto the underside of the cladding, on-site or in the factory and has excellent adhesive qualities to both steel and aluminium surface. It is a fast drying and cures to a hard finish. As it is water-based, it is easy to apply and clean.

Lightweight:
There is no additional weight to the roof as it forms a thin coating of 0.8mm - 1.0mm thickness. The advantage is that you may not need to have additional insulation layers beneath the roof to absorb noise caused by rain keeping the overall roof lighter, eliminating the need for additional structure support.

Radiated Noise Reduced:
As our Resonac range adheres to the metal surfaces, thereby providing effective vibration damping, rain impact radiated noise to the surroundings is minimized.

Expansion:
Our Resonac range still performs optimally when the roof expands.

Extras:
Environmentally friendly, UV and able to spray onto curve roof, water resistant, and has excellent flame resistance. Comes in either charcoal grey or off white in colour.

Cost:
It will be slightly more expensive then conventional insulation, however it is still will be many times cheaper than having to add extra insulation layers beneath the roof.
