Materials: Coustone acoustic tiles secured to timber battens, and fixed to existing wall or roof structures with a 50mm air gap between the Coustone and the substrate.
 
Rationale:    
Coustone has been installed in numerous recording studios where sound quality is vital component, including BBC Studios, Central Television and Harrods London.

With a noise reduction coefficient of 0.93 and sound reduction indices of up to 46.1dB, Coustone has been developed for use where an economical, hardwearing acoustical solution is required, and where traditional materials will quickly exhibit damage or performance reduction, from either physical or airborne impairment


  Made from natural stone, Coustone provides the user with a complete hardwearing acoustical solution, which will not damage or deteriorate in the same manner as soft materials that have traditionally had to be used to create a high performance acoustic surface.
