		Coustone is a rigid hard-wearing material with a crisp granulated surface that can be provide both a high acoustic performance and practical solution to a wide range of internal applications.



		Coustone has high sound absorption up to 0.95 NRC, and excellent sound insulation properties up to 46.1 dB it has been developed for use where an economical, hard-wearing, acoustic solution is required, and where traditional soft solutions will quickly exhibit damage or performance reduction, from either physical or airborne impairment.





		Coustone is constructed from bonded flint with scientifically designed air cavities which give its unique combination of absorption and attenuation properties.



		Coustone has been used in environments where hygiene is an important factor. For these applications special cleaning techniques have been developed to ensure complere disinfection of all common forms of bacteria.
